The Museum Enhancement Fund
The Town owns and maintains the buildings and provides staffing, while volunteers and community donations remain essential to our operations, programs, and events. Every contribution to the Claresholm & District Museum Enhancement Fund helps strengthen and enrich the experience we offer to visitors from near and far. Your support enables us to:
- Improve and expand access to the Museum’s artifact collection
- Enhance and expand access to the Museum’s archival collection
- Protect and preserve our collections
- Upgrade and create new, engaging exhibits
- Deliver improved educational and visitor programs
- Increase marketing to attract local and visiting audiences
- Improve highway signage
- Grow and train our volunteer team
- Develop interpretive signs, exhibits, and murals on the museum grounds
- Complete restoration projects

How to Leave a Legacy Gift
Leaving a legacy is simple—and profoundly meaningful.
- Include a bequest to the Claresholm & District Museum Enhancement Fund in your will (administered by the Town of Claresholm)
- Leave a legacy gift in recognition of a family or family member
- Make a legacy contribution at any time to honour a person, family, or event
- Receive a Charitable Tax Receipt
- Be recognized on the Museum website, social media, and on our donor recognition plaque in the Museum
